Michael Maze withdraws from Dusseldorf due the injury

03/02/2010 - Due the injury Michael MAZE of Denmark was forced to withdraw from the LIEBHERR Europe Top-12 in Dusseldorf.

European champion had an accident during the practice in mid January, when a half of the table fell on his foot.

He missed quarterfinal of European Champions League and now he is forced to miss the gathering of best European players.

He will be replaced by first substitute Bastian STEGER of Germany – fifth representative for the host nation on the list. Greek player Gionis PANAGIONTIS is already invited to travel to Düsseldorf in case to fill an eventual further withdrawal.

At the Men’s Event at the LIEBHERR Top-12 will play: Timo BOLL of Germany, Vladimir SAMSONOV of Belarus, Dimitrij OVTCHAROV of Germany, Werner SCHLAGER of Austria, Kalinikos KREANGA of Greece, Jörgen PERSSON of Sweden, Chen WEIXING of Austria, Zoran PRIMORAC of Croatia, Patrick BAUM of Germany, Christian SÜSS of Germany, Robert GARDOS of Austria, Bastian STEGER of Germany.

At the list of participants in Women’s Top-12 are: LIU Jia of Austria, Wu Jiaduo of Germany, LI Jiao of Netherlands, Viktoria PAVLOVICH of Belarus, Krisztina TOTH of Hungary, LI Qian of Poland, LI Jie of Netherlands, Elizabeta SAMARA of Romania, Tamara BOROS of Croatia, Ruta PASKAUSKIENE of Lithuania, Elke SCHALL of Germany, Daniela DODEAN of Romania.
