The Chinese national team starts an intern Tournament to find the players who will start at the Liebherr Team World Championship (23th-30th May) in Moscow.
Ma Long, Wang Hao, Ma Lin and Wang Liqin missed the first opportunity to qualify for the most important event in the year 2010.
In Xiamen the best eight players competed in a K.O.-System. Only the gainer of this tournament could win one Ticket for the Team of the World Championship
Ma Long did qualified not yet. The leader of the world ranking could win against the 20 years old newcomer Xu Xin. Ma Long lost with 2-3.
The ruling World Champion Wang Hao had no chance in the first round against Ha Shuai (0-3)
A least the final match played Xu Xin against Hao Shui. Xu Xin could win the final with 11:7, 9:11, 12:10, 11:8. At least he is the one and only player who has a save ticket for the World Championship. All the other player will get another chance in march.
